Marcela grew up in a Mexican household, where storytelling and entertainment were a part of everyday life. She began her acting career in Las Cruces, NM, where she developed deep ties to the Mesilla Valley community. She has performed on stage and screen in both Las Cruces and Albuquerque, including a multi-character stage performance in "The House on Mango Street" and a featured role in the movie "Icebox", currently streaming on HBO. Eunice is her first lead role in a feature-length film.
